Let’s see. The name’s Rachel.

I’m 25 years old, soon to be 26. I love to learn, I love chocolate, and I love my fur babies. I like to read finance blogs and magazines, take Coursera courses about any and all topics I find intriguing, and practice yoga.

I’m barely starting out on this journey called life, making a name for myself in my workplace, building up my savings and paying down my debts, and creating a fun and fulfilling life with my significant other.

I’ve matured a lot over a short period of time, and have been faced with some pretty daring opportunities. It wasn’t easy to make a decision at the time, but with some practice, I’ve gotten better at listening to what my gut tells me. Still hasn’t gotten any easier, though.

So what is it that makes these crossroads in my life difficult? That’s the one easy answer: the unknown. I don’t know what affect my choices will have. I don’t know where I’m going to be in 5 years. I don’t even know where I want to be in 5 years. (Hell, I don’t even know what I ate for breakfast last Tuesday!)

To be honest, I really don’t know what I want to do for the rest of my life.

And frankly, that terrifies me.

What I do know is that I wouldn’t be where I am today without a few key people in my life; people who have shaped me with their advice and their knowledge. And I want to give back in the same way.

So that’s the goal of this blog: to provide a resource for YOU, whoever you may be.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a young Millennial just starting out and trying to get on your feet, or an old Baby Boomer who still doesn’t have it all figured out. If you are looking for advice, hopefully you’ll find some here.

If you like what you see here, be sure to subscribe! And don’t be afraid to shoot me an email. I loooove getting messages!
